MEN & SENIOR MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- Single elimination match play.
- 32 players, comprised of exempt players and qualifiers, will compete in the championship.
- After the 32-player field is established, players will be seeded based upon a combination of three ranking systems: (1) SCGA Senior Player of the Year Points List, (2) World Amateur Golf Rankings, and (3) Scratch Players World Amateur Rankings.
Monday, August 5: Round of 32
Tuesday, August 6: Round of 16 & Quarterfinals
Wednesday, August 7: Semifinals & Final
WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
- Single elimination match play.
- 16 players, comprised of exempt players and qualifiers, will compete in the championship.
- After the 16-player field is established, players will be seeded based upon a combination of two ranking systems: (1) SCGA Women’s Player of the Year Points List, and (2) World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Monday, August 5: Round of 16
Tuesday, August 6: Quarterfinals & Semifinals
Wednesday, August 7: Final
All non-exempt players will participate in an 18-hole, stroke-play qualifying round.

Tuesday, July 30: Skylinks GC, Long Beach (All Divisions)
Thursday, August 1: Los Serranos GC (South), Chino Hills (Men's Division)
Thursday, August 1: Los Serranos GC (North), Chino Hills (Women & Senior Men Divisions)
MEN'S ELIGIBILITY: This championship division is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 5.4 or less at the time of registration.
WOMEN'S ELIGIBILITY: This championship division is open to female amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 9.4 or less at the time of registration.
SENIOR MEN'S ELIGIBILITY: This championship division is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a Handicap Index of 9.4 or less at the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 55th birthday by August 5, 2024.
MEN & SENIOR MEN EXEMPTIONS: A maximum of 24 exemptions will be granted from each division's exemption list. A minimum of eight (8) spots from each division will be available in the championship through qualifying. All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship before the entry closing date.
WOMEN EXEMPTIONS: A maximum of 12 exemptions will be granted from the exemption list. A minimum of four (4) spots will be available in the championship through qualifying. All exempt players must still meet eligibility requirements and register online for the championship before the entry closing date.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 10, 2024
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, July 21, 2024
INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org after entries close.
EXEMPT PLAYER ENTRY FEE: $175
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming space is still available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and can only be processed over the phone or through email.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $20 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
